It has recently come to my attention (difficult, ADHD) that some of you actually read the dumb blurbs we compose for our random galleries. As surprised and slightly appalled as I am, I'm mostly honored, and kind of pleased. I now know that maybe we're not just shouting into the wind every day. This knowledge certainly opens up some opportunities. While it's true that every day can feel the same when we're grinding away to put out that sweet, sweet time-wasting material, it's good to know that we're still reaching people. People, who like us, probably need memes to get them through this hellish, often hollow facade of an existence. This week has been particularly rough here in New York City. Covid's back on the rise. Our friends are dropping (quarantining) like flies. That shooting happened on the train. Hell, summer's around the corner and we are not ready for the oppressive humidity. In short: we're in desperate need of distractions. And gathering memes for the likes of you? Definitely one of the best distractions around.
