Sweet Gideon the Dachshund Dog Always Pushes His Teddy Up to His Food Bowl to Eat First and It's Offensively Cute

This little guy is currently going viral for gently nudging his toy “Teddy” to his food bowl and making sure his toy gets some food first. Trigger Warner: THIS WILL INDUCE CUTENESS AGGRESSION. Seriously, I don't care what the actual science is behind this, I want to strangle something this is so cute. I'm sorry to be so overly dramatic, but it's just how I feel. Gideon the dachshund is a sweet sweet dog that deserves everything in the world. And I'm not the only one who feels this way, the viewers in the comment section seem to agree.

The owner likes to believe that he is nudging his toy to the food bowl to make sure his friend gets to eat. Since the parents obviously don't give the toy dinner time, it's Gideon just being a selfless amazing good friend. However, some party poopers are saying that tend to do this because they're just not hungry at that moment so they're using their toy to “bury” their food to save for later. Many people in the comments hate this description and want to believe that this dog is adorably trying to feed his friend.

However, there is also some truth to the more adorable theory anyways. Sure, dogs in the wild will sometimes bury their food for later. But wolves also eat according to a hierarchy and the parents of the pack (or as more commonly known as the “alpha” wolf) gets to decide the order of eating. So perhaps, Gideon is the alpha of his pack (which is him and his toys I guess?) and he is just making sure everybody gets to eat. WHICH IS MORE ADORABLE AND I TOO AM GOING TO BELIEVE IT IS THAT. DON'T TRY TO CONVINCE ME OTHERWISE. Sorry for yelling, it's just the cuteness of this video makes me very aggressive…
