Despite (or perhaps because) of the fact that we all need it to live, food can be one of the most controversial topics going. It seems everyone and their dog has an opinion on the right and wrong things to eat for both sustenance and enjoyment, and all of them vary wildly enough to cause a lot of clashes.
The internet is no stranger to food-based controversies, and the latest has come from the mind of @BigRigBigRig. Claiming a quartet of traditionally expensive and exclusive ingredients were a sign that somebody was an "awful cook", the proclamation caused a stir among those with a taste for quality. While some wholeheartedly agreed with the conclusion, others were perplexed as to why these particular foods had gained such a poor reputation in certain circles. One thing's for sure, most of us don't have the money to taste half of these things anyway.
