When this "rude husband" had a go at the poor flight attendant over a seating kerfuffle, she was certain to get even with him by maliciously complying with his every demand. The "ruse husband" insisted that he be seated in the front row coach seats he had been seated in during his previous flight. If he had just been respectful, he might have found himself in first class but instead found himself exactly where he demanded to be.
This thread was originally posted to Reddit's r/MaliciousCompliancesubreddit last year by u/PatientAdventurous98 when we first shared this story. This classic malicious compliance was well worth a revisit due to its reception.
It's so satisfying to see people who treat customer service persons poorly getting a taste of just desserts. These people deserve nothing more and nothing less.
