'The only thing that men have, is the audacity': Woman calls out toxic ex for stealing her ring and using it to propose to his new fiancée

  "Oh my god. The only thing that men have is the f***ing audacity. Ok, let me explain: So my ex's new girlfriend, or fiancée, as he calls her, posted something on Instagram and I was looking at it rather closely, and I looked at this ring that's on her finger and I was like, 'that looks really familiar!' And then I'm like, 'holy sh*t! That's literally MY ring!' I was like, 'there's no way. Why would he do that? That's insane!' So I'm trying to prove myself wrong and I scroll down my SnapChat memories like, 'I need to find a picture of myself with this ring on.' So I find this picture, the ring I'm referring to is the one on my middle finger… So I go back to her Instagram post and I'm like, 'holyyy f***ing sh*t. That's my ring that he put on her finger knowing that it was my ring.'… I'm floored! I'm flabbergasted. You stole a ring from me and then proceeded to give it to your new girlfriend?? You're that f***ing cheap?! I'm not even mad. I just think it's the funniest sh*t ever. Like, you are the scum of the planet, dude! So I DMed her on Instagram and I was like playing dumb and I said, 'hey I just saw your most recent post and that ring you're wearing is so beautiful, where did you get it?' She hasn't responded yet…"

  Here, she explains that she broke up with him while they were living together in her house. She kicked him out, had one good cry and was ready to move on. The only tricky part is that they shared a dog. So she attempted to do a joint custody thing. It was not pretty. In the meantime, he's showing up at her house unannounced babaling trying to get her back and she is mostly shook by it, but tries to brush it off.

  Now the toxic ex has gotten to the point where he's texting her non-stop, even though she rarely responds. Most of it is nonsensical and still him trying to convince her to take him back, even though she clearly is not interested. The shared dog, however, is a problem. She then is going on a trip and has to ask the ex to watch the dog for a week. He makes it a big deal, but he agrees. Then he texts her paragraph and paragraph while she is away still trying to get her back and she is refusing to respond, mostly because she's trying to enjoy her trip away. Finally, one of the last texts she gets from him, is him saying that he left their dog with his mom and he's admitting himself to the hospital. Obviously, Hannah is very concerned now.

  So she finds out that he told her that he attempted to end his life. But he told his mother AND called her own father and said that he was admitting himself to the hospital. So technically, he lied to her. Red flags start popping up in Hannah's head and she can't understand how he can be texting her from the mental hospital. He still insists that he is there and keeps texting her even though she keeps asking him to please stop. After only 24 hours in the hospital, he asks if she can pick him up from there and she says absolutely not.

  The toxic ex gives her a horrid ultimatum in order for him to leave her life for good and for her to get her dog back. She, unfortunately, goes through with it in order to get her dog back and finally be done with him, but that a few weeks later she gets a message from him on IG (because she blocked him everywhere else). He was asking for her to get all her things back from him because he was going off to join the military and he also was dating a new girl and planning to propose.

  Turns out he was lying about the military and the girl (obviously). She then reached out to his sister and his most recent ex and they got together and found out more and more horrible things this man has been up to (lots of cheating and manipulation). So, Hannah devises a plan to get him to come over so they all can confront him.

  Turns out to just be her confronting the toxic ex, lays everything on him and he denies it all like a frustrated little kid. She recorded the entire conversation and shares "highlights" from it. She says at the end she doesn't really know how to conclude this story, but know that the saga has thankfully ended and she hasn't had to deal with him since April.
