Spicy, Hyperactive, And Extremely Intelligent Cat Finally Gets Adopted And Causes Absolute Chaos

We have heard of spicy cats before - like the extra spicy kitten who got adopted and immediately convinced her older step-brother cat to join her shenanigans. We have heard of hyperactive cats before - like all those cats who have really inappropriately-timed funny bursts of energy. We have heard of intelligent cats before - like the cat who was described as having the 'intelligence level of literally like a 3 year old but the pure chaos of a high ranking demon' by its owner. But we have yet to hear of a cat who has all three of these characteristics. Until today.

We always feel bad for the kittens who get adopted last in their litter, but this time… we kind of understand. It requires a special kind of family to deal with a kitty as unique as this one, and even though it took a while for her to get adopted, she finally 'won'. And now, she has a wonderful home to cause as much chaos in as she pleases.

"Lin - standard-issue calico, 14 yrs. old"

"I got Lin from a mom and pop pet store that had an indoor gated area for the kittens resulting from neighborhood feral births. She was last to go of the first two litters that year. Folks kept saying they were gonna come get her "tomorrow" but never did.
So about mid-june of 2009, I put her little body up on the counter to pay for her after playing with her for a few minutes.
'She won.' I said to the person behind the counter.
Lin grabbed a red puff from the display next to her and dropped it at her paws.
'We'll take the puff too. Two. We'll take two puffs.'"

"Lin's default setting is whatever the fuck she wants, whenever the fuck she wants. She is ON almost all of the time. She stalks the house relentlessly while awake.
She's not a cuddle bug, she'll never sit on you, but she'll cuddle up next to you at the same time at the same place, every day. She claims a point in your day, claims a place you go. Meets you there.
She talks a lot."

Lin's one of those cats who understands the purpose of mouth sounds and she manipulates her meow while looking you right in the eye. She gets it. She has a repertoire - and if she's not getting the attention she wants, she'll cycle through all her nuances until she gets bored.
Sometimes she just likes to yell. Sometimes no goal, sometimes at no one. She's just yelling."
