Font - r/KitchenConfidential Posted by u/fakefan97 7 hours ago A story about Olivia Wilde With all the drama surrounding "Dont worry Darling", I thought I would share a personal experience I had with her during the summer of 2020. I was working in a very nice restaurant in the Brentwood neighborhood of Santa Monica. Famously a neighborhood celebrities live in, so we had a lot of high profile clientele come in. One night about an hour before closing, Olivia Wilde has a reservation for two. Her fr

Font - The restaurant is now empty and closed. They order food, myself and the remaining employees begin closing down the restaurant. 2 hours go by, the restaurant has been completely cleaned up excluding the table they are sitting at and a few other loud intrusive things we can't really do with customers still inside like vacumming etc. The entire remaining staff is sat at a table waiting for these two to finish so they can go home. They order dessert. 1 more hour goes by, it is now 1am. Finall

Font - The GM (and owners who were minor chef celebrities themselves) would never under any circumstances let us turn out a celebrity of Olivia Wildes status. If Olivia Wilde wanted to take one of the floorboards on her way out the GM would have been making us pry it up and pack it into her car for her. We all understood, even if we disagreed, that we were to treat the rich famous people who came in with discretion and 5 star service. Most celebs that come in would never be this rude or entitled

Font - Not YourNat 6 hr. ago I would've let them know when the kitchen closes, taking it poorly would've only backfired on them. 674 xforce2000 6 hr. ago Yup, sorry but you will have to come back when we can serve you properly. Reply Share 171 Reply Share 55 ... GruntCandy86 · 2 hr. ago I don't understand why that's not a thing. I read all these stories about people being "held hostage" (for lack of a better term) by late diners... just tell them you can't serve them. They are in the wrong, not

As well as any other loud activity you could thing of. 525 broclipizza 4 hr. ago i've had servers vaccum around me and it wasn't even closing time. 103 Reply Share m Reply Share hemingway_exeunt 4 hr. ago . Font - F Apart-Cartoonist-834 · 4 hr. ago k that. Leandro barbosa used to pull this shit. He's a basketball player. Would call and say I'm gonna be there late, after a game. Like 2 hours after closing. So we'd close, sit around waiting for this dickhead and he'd not only eat for free because he promoted us on espn but he would leave nothing. Zero. So we started messing with him and treat him like sh every time he'd come until he just stopped coming. Wouldn't bring him any drink he ordered and co

Pushed in front of a regular to place an order. I called her on it and she backed off. Then was quite pleasant albeit half corked. She was with Kiernan Culkin who was pretty cool. Font - Equivalent-Excuse-80 5 hr. ago edited 3 hr. ago This is the restaurants fault. The guests are guests, regardless of celebrity status, they can range from respectful to oblivious. It's the restaurant's responsibility to dictate their hours of operation. Reply Share 608 Lazerus42 4 hr. ago . . 100% I work the same style venue.. we do slightly cater to VIPs... but not that much.. Font - ogglpuffmin 4 hr. ago When I was young and worked at Hollywood Video, at close the TVs were off and I'd play Mastodon through the speakers. That seemed to work pretty well to get them out. I'd have told them the kitchen closes at [time] and suggested a reschedule, order food to go, or another restaurant that might be open later. I feel bad for the friend, I'd have been a bit embarrassed. 32 captainmeezy 2 hr. ago Mastodon rocks! 5 Reply Share Vote Reply Share MatteKudasai. 27 min. ago Ran

Font - EqualOrganization726 3 hr. ago At the point when Olivia showed up, you can politely tell them that their food now must be to go. It's not impolite or hell even demanding to adhere to the closing times because by the time people pay and leave, the restaurant just lost money paying people to wait for them to leave. Lots of places will only do to go orders 15-30 minutes before closing for this very reason Reply Share 83 GrandeSizeIt. 26 min. ago I would assume that if celeb visits are a comm
