Every schoolkid knows that lunch is what can make or break having a good day. The cafeteria is doing pizza? Maybe math class wasn't so bad after all. Have nothing but a half-eaten bag of chips to last you until home time? There is literally nothing worse.
It's a lesson that most of us learn before we are even confident in our ABCs. It's hard to learn, or successfully cause mayhem on an empty stomach. As a parent, packing a good meal is one of the most important things you can do for your child when they go to school. While it's inevitable that you might get it wrong sometimes, you don't always get the kind of direct feedback faced by @ricki_weisberg from her son Abe.
After his first day of kindergarten, he made sure to give her a hard time about the failure and in a follow up video, Abe explained why he had come out with the scathing critique as soon as he stepped off the bus. To be fair, it seems like he really had a point.
