Man Calls Police on Fiancé For Not Returning Home, We Suspect Cheating
How does a half-hour drive turn into a whole night gone? Hmm...
The answer is it doesn't. This woman is lying through her teeth. This thread was posted to Reddit's r/AmITheA**hole subreddit by u/Rnevermore, who shared his story of waiting all night worried about where his fiancé was. She initially said she would be home before 9pm and by the time he called the police, it was 1:45am. Considering she stopped responding to his texts completely, we would say this is totally fair. By the time she returned in the morning, he called the police to close the case, but they insisted on doing a required wellness check (again, given the rules, totally fair). Naturally, she was embarrassed at work when the cops showed up to check on her, but here's the deal: she had no right to get mad at her concerned fiancé.
