Call us crazy, but we're definitely among those rare individuals who would much rather stay home with their pets than go out for a night of fun and festivities with friends. And then we wonder why we're so introverted and anxious, lol. No, but for real. When we do take it upon ourselves to make plans and actually follow through with them, it's not always rainbows and unicorns.

Of course, we'll talk ourselves up as we get ready; we'll imagine all the adventures we're about to have with our friends. But in reality, all we do is spend too much time, money, and energy on things that no longer give us pleasure and fulfillment. The outing ends up being a mess with us fantasizing about going home to our cats, getting into our cozy beds, and watching Love Is Blind. Yeah, we're boring but we've honestly come to terms with it at this point. If you too can relate, then these memes are for you!
