As much as they love to put on a bad b*tch facade and pretend as if they have 0 cares in the world, cats actually do care… a lot. Yeah, it's true cats are super independent and maybe at times even closed off or standoffish, but that's only because they've been through so much. Think about it, cats live 9 lives and by the time they enter our lives, we can only imagine all the chaos and experiences life has thrown their way. So we can't blame em for choosing to have their guard up sometimes. Super relatable if you ask us. 

But as any cat owner knows, deep deep down, under all that sass and pride, lie sweet and sensitive little creatures. Ones that are so intuitive, they can physically feel your pain and help relieve it. This brings us to today's article. One night upon hearing me scream my Malachi came to my bedside and brought me his favorite toy as if he was giving it to me to make feel better. Malachi is incredibly gentle and affectionate and all he wants is for people to be happy so it makes sense that he was trying to comfort me. He can't stand hearing his humans in distress so he tries to comfort people if he hears them be under duress."

My current cat Mash used to snuggle cheek to cheek with me every morning but as he's gotten older the snuggles get fewer and farther between. They put it in a splint because it was too swollen to put a cast on yet. They gave me crutches and I went home. I tried to get around the best I could with the crutches but by bedtime I was done with them.
