As human beings, there's nothing we yearn more for than to love, be loved, and feel connected. There's no going about it, that's just human nature. Welp, apparently, that's feline nature too. If you're not familiar with the term already, a bonded pair is a pair of cats that are… yep, you guessed it bonded. The most common cases where cats create special bonds with one another are the ones in animal shelters.
If you've ever been to an animal shelter, you know how chaotic the atmosphere can get. You have animals of all sorts and sizes just screaming to get adopted. This creates an unstable environment which causes cats to seek out comfort. And they do so by bonding with like-minded felines to feel like they belong. But that's definitely not the end of it. Cats are also able to create special bonds in households and other environments. With that being said, we hope you enjoy these 12 bonded pairs of cats proving that they too, just want to belong.

"Jasper (Manx ginger) and Agatha (cow pattern) are a bonded pair that are still up for adoption at my rescue! They were recently brought over from Puerto Rico and are the sweetest duo ever! Jasper, as he is a Manx, was born with no tail!"
Can we just say how obsessed we are with this picture?! It's the size ratio for us. No, but really. The tiny kitten makes the other cat look absolutely ginormous and we're here for it. So much snuggling and cuteness going on yassss
