Christmas is right around the corner, and you know what that means: there are 10 million things you need to do at any given moment, and you don't have time for any of them! If you have kids, it's even worse. I don't even know how parents today can deal with the Elf on the Shelf nonsense, putting up Christmas decorations, buying and wrapping presents, and ensuring their families have a good Christmas. Naturally, if you have that much responsibility, some of your obligations will fall through the cracks, and that's okay! You don't need to make homemade Christmas cookies if you struggle not to fall asleep at 8 P.M.
For some people, not doing Christmas full out is simply unacceptable. That would be okay if they only applied those standards to themselves, but some busybodies demand that every person in their neighborhood properly decorates for Christmas up to their standard. One Karen from Calgary took this philosophy to the extreme when confronting her neighbor about their unseasonal lack of decor.
