(Just in case you haven't seen Avengers: Endgame yet… 🤯 WARNING: spoiler ahead!)

Is it really all that surprising that classic metal heads and Comic Con Marvel “nerds” agree on things? During the height of metal music, pioneer musicians like Black Sabbath and their fans were considered outcasts. Some were even more ostracized during the ‘Satanic panic" that the metal genre and the media stirred up. Marvel fans obsessed with their favorite powerful character tend to be thrown in the “nerd” category and are ostracized as well. So when one man on TikTok shared a clip from his bootleg version of Avengers: Endgame where the soundtrack was slightly edited by using the iconic “Iron Man” by Black Sabbath for Stark's deaeth scene rather than the silence the original film uses, fans of both metal and marvel rejoiced.

Not ever Marvel fan was happy, however. Some say that it didn't make since to use an Iron Man theme for a scene where Iron Man is coming to an end. Some believe the silence made the scene more powerful and wouldn't have it any other way. But metal fans disagree, and metal/Marvel fans say that if you truly recognized Stark's character, then you would realized he would have wanted to go with this epic song.

Fan of Marvel or metal or both? What do you think fit better? The classic Black Sabbath “Iron Man” or the silence the original film includes?
