Viral text thread! 'There is no Dave. Only Carol the 90 year old party grandma': Chaos ensues after guy adds the wrong person to the group chat

We've all messaged the wrong person before, but we haven't all messaged Carol! This viral text thread was not only wildly entertaining for those involved but, like many of the people in the actual text chain, it's also wildly entertaining if you're just bored at work and desperately awaiting memes and jokes and drama. Especially memes and jokes and drama where you're removed enough to just sit back and enjoy. 

 

The story goes like this: a guy who definitely feels like a Chad or a Mitch to me added someone to a party group chat under the name "Dave" in his iPhone contacts. "Dave" replied that he was actually Carol, a 90-year-old party grandma who proceeded to send various images of "herself" getting "lit," as the kids say these days.
