This story starts off with a kid who overcharged his dad's Apple account.
Apparently not understanding how the payment system worked, the kid racked up a ton of charges.
-
03
The kid bought a TON of digital items and currency from two games.
But this family didn't actually get refunded after all…
-
04
Redditors had questions too. How could this possibly happen?
-
05
Then, OP broke the bad news that "the saga continues" in a followup post.
-
06
Uh oh.
OP is an angry dad now! The credit card charge couldn't be reversed, leaving the family with a lot of Roblox currency and not a lot of actual money.
-
07
In the top right, it says, "Not eligible for refund." Yikes!
All 23 purchases got turned down for refunds.
-
08
Folks in the comments were split on if it was the Dad's fault or the son's. Others added info about credit card chargebacks, adding that the OP had put a lot of info out there on Reddit that could be used against him.
-
09
Other Redditors commiserated. Who among us hasn't accidentally spent a few (or a hundred) dollars online?
