Everyone thinks that life with cats is so friggin' easy for some reason. They think that all that cats do is sleep, eat and poop. But they're wrong. No one knows the mental anguish of being a cat owner until they themselves become cat owners. The amount of times that we got woken up in the middle of the night because our cats unexpectedly got the zoomies is insane. The amount of heart attacks that we've had because our cats suddenly decided to hide in the most random place possible is even insane-r. The amount of money we paid on stupid vet visits with our cats - because our cats were apparently screaming about being constipated - is painful.

And on top of all that, sometimes, our little felines decide that they really feel like showing us who's boss by shamelessly embarrassing us in front of other people. You guys know the feeling- we found that our when we asked you to tell us about those things, and y'all… delivered.

We have to be honest. While we do see how this experience would be embarrassing to some degree, we also think that if this had happened to us, we would have ended up leaving on that date with you smiling our faces off.
