‘My Wedding Was Saved by Three Very Determined Women Who Would Not Allow MIL to Have Her Way’ : Mother-In-Law Attempts Petty Revenge Against Divorced Father-In-Law During Her Son’s Wedding, Wife’s Boss Bridesmaids Epically Shut Her Down

When dreaming about your future husband or wife, a toxic parent-in-law is not included. Unfortunately, it happens and it can really become a make or break part of the engagement. Luckily, this woman found a hack around marrying into toxic parent-in-laws. Basically, be marrying a supportive and understanding partner, but most importantly, have a boss AF group of friends who will not let anything ruin your chance at love.

This woman shared her mother-in-law horror story that had an awesome ending. It was time for their wedding, she had already struggled with the MIL for pre-wedding ordeals. For instance, she invited her to her wedding dress fitting, but instead made it all about her and the bride-to-be had to reschedule her fitting because she spent the entire time trying to convince the MIL that she cannot wear a wedding dress to her wedding.

So obviously, the wife-to-be was nervous about how her MIL was going to behave at the wedding. The MIL had already confided in her that she was going to use her wedding as an opportunity to exact revenge on her ex-husband/ the woman's soon to be father-in-law. The blushing bride was now plagued with anxiety, especially because she wanted the wedding to be perfect for her terminal mom. She told all of this to her three bridesmaids, which contained two of her oldest friends and her sister—and they took their duties very seriously. They shutdown this MIL so many times during her wedding, that the bride had no idea the MIL went rogue until days after the wedding.

The MIL tried to cry as loud as possible whenever there were big moments, like during the cake cutting. But one of her bridesmaids was also the photographer and whenever she heard the MIL start to throw a tantrum, she would immediately go over there and start taking photos of her. The MIL is too vain to allow bad photos of her, so she would quickly stop her crying and start to pose for the camera.

Her other bridesmaid literally yanked the veil off of the MIL after she found her wearing it in the bathroom, fully intending on keeping it from the bride. And the sister went over and straight-up unplugged the microphone cord during the speeches after the MIL got a hold of the mic.
