Like all establishments, an automobile company has rules and policies. It seems entirely plausible (generally speaking,) that people would understand a little thing called the 'rule of thumb'. AKA, the unspoken agreement. But unfortunately, not everyone is very bright. There are many possible conclusions one may come to when a car seemingly evaporates into thin air. When you disappear for two hours when taking a car out for a test drive, and ignore all of the staff's attempts at reaching out to you digitally, it's fair to assume that the company will call the cops on you. For all they know, you've done a dine-and-dash, with an actual car.
As it so turns out, one crazy lady took incredible offense when police got involved after she drove off with a car for a 'test drive', and returned two and a half hours later. This Karen took to Yelp to formally complain. Many crocodile tears were involved (She mentioned the word 'crying' about 15 times). The company replied to her review with a few minor details she had conveniently left out.
Such as the fact that while on this mini road trip, she managed to pack in quite an itinerary. She picked up a friend, who she then went to lunch with, then went off-roading, and finally made her way back to the car company to return said car. Boy was she surprised when a police cruiser was there along with the entire team of employees, awaiting her arrival with baited breath,
