Stuck On You: 18 Animals That Got Into A Sticky Situation
We've all been there. Your phone falls behind the couch, you lower yourself to the floor to somehow morph into a carpet and retrieve your phone from sofa jail, only to realise that you have gotten stuck under the couch! Unlike the animals in this list, you will probably get yourself unstuck pretty quickly (those opposable thumbs come in pretty handy, eh), so take a moment and spare a thought for our comically stuck animal brethren.
Fun fact: In South Africa a Hippo scaled 10-foot walls to take a dip in a water tower. Problem being, it got stuck inside! A local farmer called Mpumalanga Tourism and Parks Association to rescue the pool party crasher. It took a hydraulic winch, 4 hours, a bit of poking with some long sticks and a 3-metre-long cage to get the hippo back to its home in the rivers.
