Hey there pals. So we want to start this off by saying that although we do not speak the same languages as our animal friends, we humans are often extremely confident in our ability to effectively communicate with our animals and animals that we come across. And that that is completely justified. What pet owner doesn't talk to their pets? That's what we'd like to know. We have full blown out conversations with our cats and dogs, and they often respond as if they understood every single word that we said!
So why then does the original poster of this AITA Reddit thread think that it is his place to squash the magical experience that his 10 year old sister is having with their family's pet parrot? We don't get it. What is the harm in allowing her to have fun and speak with her beloved parrot? We don't see any harm at all, and neither did the animal lovers of Reddit who poured in to support OP's sister! Go ahead and check out all of the details below!
