Cutie Canadian Kitty Stays Pawsitive and Has the Time of Her Life Playing in a Meowntain of Snow

Is this just a Canadian cat thing or are there others like Freya the snow swimmer?

The internet is flooded with videos of dogs having a blast in the snow, and cats absolutely hating it. We all know the infamous “nope” photo of a cat's paw print in the snow creating the world's cutest “nope.” So the common thought is that dogs love to play in the snow and cats do not… Or do they??

Recently, a cat from Canada named Freya has been going viral because she is obsessed with playing in the snow. And we mean OBSESSED. She will even skip breakfast if that means she gets to leap into the fluffy pile of frozen goodness.

The videos show her not only exploring her snowy terrain, or as we like to call it, her snowy Meowntain, but she also loves to play in it. She will belly flop right into a pile of snow and straight up disappear within it, but then a second later pop up like a floofy snow Jaws. Her mom will make little snow balls and toss them for her to catch or hunt after. She'll leap into the air and let the snow catch her. It's quite majestic actually.
