Font - Also, would you be able to give us a reasonable notice to be able to find someone in your place??? 9:27 a.m. I'm happy to speak to you in person if you'd like more reasons for my leaving, I'd rather not do it over the phone. As for giving notice, I thought that this wasn't necessary for you since you hadn't given notice or before letting them go, so I figured it wasn't something that you expected. 9:29 a.m. ✔ Message O O <

The worker, at commenters' request, took to the comments to provide more context to the situation

Font - MenaGirl1 OP 2 hr. ago · edited 1 hr. ago To add to the shitty-ness: I was repeatedly sexualy harrased by my male coworker, who was married. I told management about this, and nothing happened. I was paid 0.50 cents less than I was originally promised, and not given the raises that I was told would come while I worked there.

Font - They said they would give me a uniform, but they never did, and I got in trouble multiple times for not having one. My hours were consistently reduced because I wouldn't work extra on my days of. We would have to stay several hours overtime to finish all our work, and would get in trouble for 'making' them pay us overtime, so we stopped taking breaks so we could finish faster. They where happy with this until they realized they could get in legal trouble, and then they started docking pay

Font - AdhesivenessReady349 3 hr. ago . The last line is SAVAGE! Way to go. Won't change how things are there but it is a nice "F U" to them Vote Ouwkes 2 hr. ago Yes this. No response at that last line OP? Vote Reply Share Vote Reply Share MenaGirl1 OP. 2 hr. ago Yes, but it gets to personal about my fellow employees and I didn't want to post that. It's mostly stupid excuses that I know are lies because I'm a human being capable of speaking to my former coworkers Reply Share

Font - HistoricalWelder6589 3 hr. ago Sounds like a boss I had when I was serving. We'd make 20 to 30 a day on tips and he didn't have us input tips so he could get out of paying us minimum wage. My coworker and i both went in and quit at the same time once we both secured another job. He was like "oh you should've given more notice." Nah dude. You should have done things legally. Font - Child Of1970 3 hr. ago For now working to live, never living to work Notice should be a two way street. They don't give notice, not reason for employees to do it. Vote KaneLuna 1 hr. ago Reply Share . Vote ●●● Notice should be given to good employers. If your employer is a peice of so I have no issue using all my vacation and sick time and getting a new job asap. O notice for shit employers, 2 weeks or when you know things change for good employers. Reply Share

Font - passporttohell. 40 min. ago For a bad employer I give them two weeks notice on Friday afternoon prior to starting the new job the following Monday. When they call I just let it go to voicemail, then delete without listening. Same with texts or emails from them. Vote Reply Share KaneLuna 39 min. ago I like your style. Vote ... Reply Share
