Humans Find Out Their Dramatic Pigeon Named Steve Fakes Limp for Attention After Taking Him to Vet, They Try Setting Him Free to No Avail (Video)

The story begins with a cute pigeon who religiously showed up at a couple's door, for months on end. One day, the humans went for a trip to Turkey, and apparently, the pigeon developed abandonment issues, because from then on and henceforth the pigeon waddled around with a limp. This worried the poor couple, and they called up a vet, who graciously told them they were welcome to bring him in, free of charge.

So they did. And guess what? This pigeon, who they named 'Steve', was faking it! Presumably, for attention! What did his attention-seeking get him? Well, first of all, a sorry trip to the vet, where he was probably super bored for a week. Then, the vet told the couple they should release Steve into the wild, where there are lots of other pigeons.

So they did. And guess what? Steve showed up on their front porch barely 3 days later! This dude is obviously in love - or a con artist who is a sucker for yummy treats.
