In the life of a cat owner, thankfully, most of the time, things are calm. Our kitties nap, they look for spots with sunshine, they cuddle up next to us. Life is good with cats. But not everyone is as pleased with cats as we are, unfortunately, and some can even be cruel. Today's story is about a cat who got poisoned - maliciously, according to the cat owner. Luckily, the cat owner was around, took care of the poor kitty, and rescued it. And the owner is not the only one was taking care of it. The cat's adorable adopted sibling, although usually not affectionate, came to the rescue, cuddling its sibling.
We love bonded cat pairs so much. Seeing them provide comfort and love to one another makes us so happy. Thankfully, now that a week has passed since the post initially went viral, we've gotten an update that he feels better, and although, of course, we want to thank the owner, we think another thank you should go to the cat sibling, who was there to help with recovery as well.
To us, the reason this person had treatment on hand does not matter at all. We're just glad that they had it and knew how to use it when it was needed. Maybe we should all have it in our homes just in case something like this happens. Thank you for being there for your kitty.
Cats have such an awful reputation for being "unfeeling" or "uncaring", and it is so not true. This sweetheart came because it knew it was needed and that its presence would do its bonded pair a whole lot of good. And that's just about all the proof we could ever need that cats are adorably affectionate. They just choose when to be affectionate, and we respect that lol.
