Of course, we're bringing you some of the most unique and most adorable unique animals we could find because we want to make learning fun!

You never know when you're going to need a picture of a cute animal and some facts about it. It could be the key to unlocking a pawsitively awesome relationship! Ringed seals are the smallest seal species, and when born, weigh under ten pounds. Specific to ringed seals are sharp claws on their front flippers. They use these claws to carve breathing holes in the ice.
The bush dog is a stocky canid with a bear-like face that lives near water in Central and South America. It has partially webbed feet, keeping it from sinking into mud and assisting it in swimming and diving. Don't be fooled by its small stature, it is an apex predator.
The tufted ground squirrel is IUCN Vulnerable to extinction and endemic to the island of Borneo/Kalimantan. It has the largest tail-to-body size ratio of any mammal, with the tail being 130% the size of its body.
The long-tailed tit is insectivorous throughout the year. It eats predominantly arthropods, preferring the eggs and larvae of moths and butterflies. Occasional vegetable matter (such as seeds) is taken in the autumn.
Arctic foxes have some of the largest possible litters of any canids, with groups of 18 to even 25 babies being not uncommon. They also mate for life, and will not take another mate if their chosen mate dies.
The western hooknose is a nocturnal snake native to the SW US and Mexico. Nocturnal and fossorial, their primary defense is making a popping noise with their cloaca— farting. Some fart so hard they lift themselves from the ground.
Vampire Moths (Genus Calyptra): the vampire moth has a specialized proboscis that it generally uses to pierce/feed on fruit, but some have also been observed using the same tactic to feed on the blood of mammals, including humans.
The coconut crab is the largest land-dwelling arthropod in the world, growing up to 1 meter in width (over 3 feet). It will climb trees to get to its namesake food - coconuts, using its large claws to clip and crack the coconut. A juvenile crab will sometimes use a coconut shell as shelter.
Often mistaken as dragonflies, damselflies belong to the same order (Odonata) but are usually distinguished by their thinner, needlelike abdomens and by the way they hold their wings when at rest. In Japan, they are revered and respected, being symbolic of happiness, strength, courage and success.
