Welcome to Pride Rock, the year 2123. The descendants of the lion king still run the place, but it's a whole different situation. Big cats of all kinds have traveled far and wide to make their home in the ancestral land of the most famous and majestic of felines. Fearing the great influx of large predators, the citizens of the kingdom have fled, fearing for their lives and the inevitable overhunting that comes with too many big cats.

Now the current leader of Pride Rock, lord Himba, faces a food shortage and possible rebellion. In the face of certain peril, he follows in the steps of his ancestor and seeks council in the illustrious monkey lords, descendants of Rafiki. The wise monkeys counsel him to seek the animal plants, intriguing plants that look like animals, and taste like whatever your heart desires. While this magical food saved the shortage problem, it then lead to invasion by herbivore rebels of all kinds.

Fun (and adorable) fact: cheetah cubs have this incredibly cute scruff of fur that makes them look like punk rockers. This fluffy fur is used to protect them from bad weather and healp them stay camouflaged in tall grass.
