The Dangers of Dating a Man-Child: Boyfriend Allegedly Cheats because His Girlfriend Preferred Studying over Partying
Relationships are all about balancing your personal needs with your needs as a couple. Sometimes, your partner is going through a stressful time at work or school, with the goal of building the best life possible, not only for themselves but for your joint future. In times like that, your role as a significant other is to offer moral support and, when they get a little time off, some quality time.
But what happens when your partner views your studies as a disruptive force in your relationship?
Recently, a story about a 27-year-old man-child made Reddit headlines when his 24-year-old girlfriend posted about his selfish and immature behavior. The young woman was studying for an important exam, but her boyfriend wanted to go out. When she refused to join him, he went out alone and tried to derail her studies by sending her photos with another woman who he would supposedly be spending the night with.
Nothing makes Reddit users pull out the pitchforks faster than an emotionally abusive AH, and this guy was no different.
