It's the classic tale of a man thinking the grass is greener on the other side, only to find out that it's been spray-painted green to hide the dog poop underneath.

On today's topTrue Off Your Chest thread on Reddit, a woman shared that she bumped into her ex-husband after six months of no contact following the finalization of their divorce. She was the one to break off their marriage when she realized he was a selfish AH that would always out her last and treated her like a bang-maid.

OP shared that her ex quickly moved on with a new woman and spent the entire divorce proceedings rubbing in her face how his new girlfriend was better than her in every way. They were married before the ink dried on the divorce papers. Fast forward to the coincidental meeting, the ex shared that his life since the wedding has been a nightmare - his wife kicked him out of their bedroom and excludes him from family events, his MIL lies with them and outright ignores him, and he spends his days hiding in his room.
