The Worst Food TikToks to Poison Our Feeds This Week (March 24, 2023)

Some people simply cannot be trusted with food. I'm not talking about my mom, either. Even with her negligible cooking skills, I know she would never do anything wasteful or disrespectful to food that should be eaten. The same does not go for people on TikTok, Instagram or Facebook. Over the past year food abominations have become even more prevalent. The desperation for engagement and attention has unleashed some seriously sad culinary creations into the Internet. To put it frankly, our feeds have been poisoned. 

TikTok is where these horrifying videos are shared the most. As a critic of all things TikTok, this comes as no surprise to me. While some users seem to simply have no idea what they're doing in the kitchen, there are even more who could actually cook something good but instead choose to destroy our appetites by dumping cheese over cookies, or boiling ground beef for a "cake." Most of these "recipes" should never have seen the light of day, but in this strange new world, any engagement - even disgust - is a success. So the food gets more deranged and we feel more disgusted by clout-seeking kitchen creatives. We're here to share the worst of it all with you, because if you can't beat 'em all you can do is mock 'em.
