It is well known that when you stare into a void kitty's eyes, the void stares back at you, but not why this phenomenon occurs. To understand why these clawtastic cats are capable of such wonders, we need to look to the far past, to the days of myth and legend. To the days that cats ruled the world. Back then, lived a sweet void-black kitty, simply known as Shadow.
Shadow was special. He knew things that the other cats didn't and no one knew how. Unbeknownst to them, he had a special relationship with his shadow, able to communicate with it and ask it to help him learn about others, so he could better make friends with all the other animals. And so it learned of the other animals and helped him befriend them, vowing to be his eternal friend and serve his family as their best friend forever. And that is what is actually staring at you, not the void, but rather a friendly shadow.
