This is bigger than regular orange cat shenanigans
For some reason this world is full of people who think that it's perfectly acceptable to hurt animals, specifically cats. Anybody that thinks that a kitty deserves bad treatment is a real jerk, but fortunately, there are people out there who heroically rescue cats who are abandoned, hurt, or left alone. One man named Kyle, a construction worker and father of 4, recently discovered the horrors of humanity when he found a baby orange cat, stranded and left behind in a trash can that had flooded with rain water.
Kyle rushed to the scene, following the sounds of faint mewing, but as he approached the cries stopped. He saw the tips of the kittens ears sticking out of the dirty basin of water and immediately flipped it sideways to pour the water out.
The kitten flopped out amongst pieces of trash, seemingly confused but grateful to be on solid ground. Kyle scooped up the kitten, dried him off, and checked his vital signs, hoping that he could save this forgotten kitty.
At first the cat didn't move much, probably stunned that she was on dry land and enjoying the fresh breaths. But after he saw that the kitten was responding to his touch, cuddling closer to the warmth of his hands as he handled her. He decided that this lucky kitty deserved a second chance and he brought her home to care for her.
After bathing her in warm, soapy water, the man dried her thoroughly and gave her a little makeshift home to live in and recuperate until she was a little more recovered. The kitty was very thankful, showing her gratitude with cuddles, mews, and happy kisses.
At first, Kyle didn't expect to become so attached to the kitty, but the man couldn't resist her affection once she was brought into his home. Not only did his kids love her, but she seemed to love them too. Now, months later, Lilo the orange kitty has been officially adopted by her rescuer.
