He has 8 lives left and he's using all of them for the good of other kitteh's
Street cats don't always have the best chances when they're left in the road to fend for themselves. Particularly in undeveloped countries or places where they don't value to the lives of pets as much, cats can be kicked to the curb mercilessly, especially when they have health defects to begin with. Odds aren't looking good for those lil guys. For one lucky cat, a white Turkish Angora named Theo, he was rescued despite a potentially life threatening health problem.
This adorable good boy was rescued from the streets of Dubai. There, he was found starving in the streets, underweight and with a massive infection in one eye. Nobody knows how his eye was injured, but his savior, a woman from a local animal rescue, took him in and cared for him, nursing him back to health and providing surgery for his battered eye.
Now, through a rescue called “9 Lives, 1 Hope”, Theo was relocated and adopted by a family in London, where he was transported into his new life of luxury and devoted care from his new paww-rents. He wore a cone that protected his wounds and recovered quickly because of the support from his new forever family. That could be one of the best rags to riches stories out there for a rescue animal. He avoided being left for d3ad and is now followed by thousands of adoring fans online.
Instead of roughing it out on the streets in the desert, Theo now lives in a penthouse over-looking the city. In fact, he has healed so well and has received so much attention online, he has become the first mascot and ambassador of the rescue that saved his life! Theo's online following and his clout with animal lovers has led to an increase in donations to help improve the lives of thousands of other forgotten cats who face the same bleak fate as he did.
Now, Theo the one-eyed cyclops cat, represents the life that all cats should have available to them. He is pampered, loved, and cared for diligently, which is all that some cats are really asking for at the end of the day. When animals are treated well, they give back so much in return.
