Mother nature is an amazing thing, giving us amazingly beautiful and colorful flora and fauna, but sometimes, rather than giving us fantastically furry friends or colorful cockatiels, it gives us some really zany and wacky stuff (some cute, some creepy), that when we see it, can't help but make us wonder if someone out there is trolling us with these absolutely weird plants and animals that seem to be out of a Lovecraftian horror story.
So after thoroughly checking that these wonderfully wacky animals are indeed real (thanks to Wikipedia), we've compiled a list of some of the most interesting, zany, and weird-looking creatures that mother nature has to offer so that you don't have to see them in real life, and possibly have nightmares about them for the rest of your life. Seriously, some of these look like their parts were picked at random while blindfolded.

So this is the Maned Wolf, and it seems to be that someone took a fox and was like, that's too small, so threw some wolf in it, and then decided it had to be taller and added some deer. But still, something was missing, so they gave it a hyena's face just to make sure it could better haunt our dreams.

This is a Saiga Antelope, which has apparently been in Mongolia and its surrounding areas. These guys look like an antelope/moose/elephant hybrid and are most likely the inspiration for a plethora of Dr. Seuss characters.
