Font - r/pettyrevenge Posted by u/topathemornin . W 3 43 44 4 W26 8 Neighbor took my parking spot after I shoveled. I poured water in his windshield. It was a cold winter day. 8 inches of snow had fallen the night before, and the windchill made it feel as if it were in the negatives (Fahrenheit). I drive an all wheel drive SUV so I have no issues getting out. My wife on the other hand drives a Prius, which slides with the smallest amount of moisture on the road.

Font - My car was down at the time, so we had to take my wife's car. I spent 45 minutes in the freezing cold shoveling that car out so we could get to the store. We were gone for an hour, and when we came back, our neighbor had taken the spot I had shoveled.

Mammal - Our apartment complex doesn't have assigned parking, but in the winter, it's understood that if you shovel a spot, it's yours. So when I saw his car in the spot I had just shoveled, I was pretty pied.

Font - I went inside and filled two gallon jugs of water. Went back out and poured them on his windshield. Rinse and repeat. I must have poured about ten gallons of water on his car. Being how cold it was, it was already freezing by the time I poured the last gallon on. It sat like that overnight.

Plant - The next morning, I got to watch as he helplessly tried to scrape all of these layers of ice off his windshield. Don't take my godda parking spot.

Font - Edit: you guys need to chill. This isn't r/AITA. I'm not looking for judgement because I already know I'm an a e. The point of this sub is to tell stories of petty revenge. I'd say I was being pretty d petty

Font - Edit 2: sorry, I find it so funny people telling me I committed vandalism. No damage was done except for wasting like 5-10 minutes of his time. Ever hear of freezing rain? It does the same thing I did to his car. Never does any damage. This was also many years ago, and the cops haven't come to arrest me yet. I think I'm good.

Font - BarriBlue I did this even when it wasn't snowing. This guy on my block owns no less than 4 jeeps - he has an assigned parking spot and garage in the complex. Assigned spots/garages are hard to come by. Still manages to street park 3 Jeeps and take up 3 prime (limited) street parking spots in front of our court. He will often sit outside and wait/watch for people to leave and take their spots so he can line all his jeeps up. He is a hoarder. We have elderly people in the court who could be

Font - Once I finally had the good parking spot right in front! He was just coming down the block to park as I was getting in my car to leave. Obviously he saw me & wanted my spot. He was waiting for it. It was in that moment I decided I immediately needed to clean out my entire car. Get a garbage bag, clear all the garbage, take in the shovel & snow scraper, organize. He eventually huffed off and parked across the street. I made my 10 minute run to the store and had my spot back after.

Font - UneventfulLover So I do what I must. I put the snow shovel in my trunk and head back inside. I am laughing so hard right now. Way to go!

Font - FU My dad used to love going christmas shopping so he could walk down a random parking lot isle that was two over from his spot. Slow down and get his keys out, wait for someone to throw on a blinks and then cross two lanes to get to his car. It would drive people insane. My dad was crazy.

Font - Ellthebelle My dad was petty af. The winter of 96' in the Philly area. He had shoveled a spot out from the few feet of snow we got. I can't remember why his car was gone for a minute but when he got back someone had parked in his spot. My dad was MAD. So he shovels himself a new spot, and piles all the snow up on and around the car in his original spot. He then shovels the neighbors some spots and did the same thing. Couldn't even see the car when he was done.

Font - spaghettirodriguez In Pittsburgh we've mostly all agreed on the "parking chair" system. If you shovel it, you put a folding chair or something similar in the spot. If you're someone looking for a spot, you do not violate the sanctity of the parking chair.

Font - HalfaManYouAre A few years ago, we got a foot or two of snow in Philadelphia. I lived in the not so good section of west Philadelphia. People would put cones and trashcans on spots they shoveled out. One idiot had the bs to move the cones and trashcans and park in the spot. Guess who didn't have tires when they came back.
