If there's one thing I can't stand, it's adults who don't eat their vegetables. I know that a lot of people have sensory issues or eating disorders, and those aren't the people I'm talking about. I'm talking about grown men and women who can't eat four pieces of broccoli with their meal because they're too darn stubborn. My hatred for this type of person developed when I was working at a restaurant in high school. I can't even count the number of times adults would order their chain-restaurant Chinese food with "no veggies." It got to the point that the cooks would assume that all meals were being ordered with no veggies. I couldn't believe adults would be so immature and make such poor choices in front of their children. I'm not a health nut by any means, but I know that the least you can do for yourself is eat your vegetables, and unfortunately, not everybody agrees. One Redditor who tried to help her boyfriend eat better figured that out all too well.
