Aggressive Newborn Chick Hilariously Squares Up Every Morning with the Farm's Chicken Watch Dog Who's Luckily Very Chill About It

Parents know in order to raise your children, you have to have patiences. It's not easy, but it is something you have to master so you don't completely lose it on your kids. The way kids act sometimes, it just seems impossible. Well, there is one little dog that is upping the patience game with his adopted little chicken babies.

There has never been a more adorable rivalry than this dog and his baby chickens. The dog is the “chicken dog” for the farm, says farmer Natalie Floyd on her TikTok videos. The dog named Rip stays with the chickens while the free range and protects them from predators. He has gone through rounds before of raising chicks, so that is probably where he gained his patience for the feisty chicks.

This recent round of chicks that this farm is raising has a spicy one in its midst. This tiny little chick they suspect to be a rooster because it is unafraid and aggressive. Every morning when the dog Rip comes to check on them the chick is waiting for him not just ready to square up, but instigating it. Rip just sits there staring lovingly at all the chicks and this itty bitty floof feathery baby just struts right up to him and ATTACKS.

“[The chick] has a deathwish,” Floyd says. "But luckily I have a chill dog, so he lives to see another day."

Rip is a very good boy and does not lose his cool whenever the chick goes for his snoot. Even when the chick tries to form a chicken gang and initiate other chicks into his vicious behavior towards their protective canine. Rip always keeps his cool though.

Floyd assures viewers that Rip is used to chickens and them getting nippy with them, so he never overreacts. He is loves his chickens, even the spicy baby ones. Many followers say they're following just to be able to see the day when this rivalry turns into a most beautiful friendship.
