Wildest Posts From the Depths of Facebook (April 23, 2023)
On a personal level, I try to be a Facebook avoider. My newsfeed isn't usually that unhinged, but there isn't all that much on there that's for me. Compared to some people, though, I get off pretty lightly with my occasional engagement announcement, and boomer acquaintances posting their nice meal out. There is some truly specialist content on there, which millions of people everywhere are subjected to on a daily basis. The very worst of it is almost something special, if you can get past the extreme cringe factor. There are many unhinged individuals out there, and many of them choose to congregate in Mark Zuckerberg's OG social media. It often isn't pretty, but it is hard to look away. It may not be the favorite place of many young people, but that doesn't mean that it can't be a hotbed of horrifying activity. Just look at the examples below.
