Running a small business is not an easy task. It's takes diligent planning, constant budgeting, sacrifices, and many many ups and downs. It helps when you are working with someone you know you can survive anything with. In this particular case of a small plant shop, it was a mom and daughter. The mom owned the shop and the teenage daughter worked there with her. The mother-daughter-duo was working beautifully and some would even say it seemed to be a bonding experience. Especially when those experiences include coming together to battle a wild Karen customer.
The teen daughter posted the story to Reddit and how they epically defeated this Karen. So the daughter is working the shop while her mother takes care of somethings elsewhere in the store. All of a sudden, the daughter hears a screeching noise coming from outside. When she goes to check, she finds a Karen woman throwing a tantrum about one of the heavy permanent plants being in they way on the sidewalk. The plant most definitely was not in the way and it was way too heavy for anybody to attempt to move, so the entire scene seemed absurd. The daughter kept telling her to please stop touching their property and to leave. The Karen did not, so the daughter went inside to get her mother, aka the manager. When they returned outside the Karen was stealing plants from their shop and putting them in her car saying that they "owed" her these free plants for putting her through the horrors of having to walk around the plant they had on the sidewalk… The mother and the Karen started yelling at each other as the mother started taking the plants out of the Karen's car and putting hem back in the shop.
Finally, the teen daughter said she would call the cops and show them the footage of the Karen stealing the plants if she didn't return the plants and leave right now. As fate would have it, a few minutes after she said that, a cop car rolled by and the Karen went white as a sheet, because she knew she was guilty. She hopped in her car and sped off without taking any of the plants. The mother and daughter plant shop duo win this battle, but the war is never over for Karens in the wild.
