Font - This was my first encounter with a Karen. So for context my mum owns a plant shop, and I help around the store occasionally. We've had all sorts of entitled customers and not so bright customers, we even had a customer come in and ask for a "Green plant with leaves." But this lady tips the scale all the way. So I'm out front putting plants and decoration out the front of the entrance as we do every day, and then a wild Karen appeared. I hear this loud scraping sound from behind me, I look

Font - this large old lady with grey hair and a black shirt with flowers moving the large concrete potted plant that had been permanently placed there, this potted plant wasn't easy to move, the concrete pot alone was a meter or so tall and had a gross weight of around 45 kilos. She was shoving this thing with all her might when I walk up to her and ask what she thinks she's doing. She turns to me and says, "This annoying thing was obstructing the sidewalk and needs to be moved." It was not obst

Font - I tell her to please leave this plant alone it is not your property. She ignores me and keeps moving the plant. I go to my mum, the manager of the store, but by the time we're out the front she has stopped moving the plant and is now loading up here car with our plants from the front along with other things. My mum storms up to her and asks her what the heck she's doing. The Karen turns over with her face red as a tomato and says, "Since you had the audacity to block the sidewalk with you

Font - mum has just about had it and starts unloading our plants from her car. She starts screaming demanding us to not touch "her stuff". She said she would call the police and press charges for theft, then I chimed in and said, "Actually, we have security footage of you stealing from our store and if you do not leave we will call the police." Karen was fuming and muttering incomprehensibly. We

Font - hadn't actually called the police yet, but by sheer random chance a police car happened to drive by the store and the Karen's face turned from red to white, she had actually thought we called the police. She hopped in her car and sped opposite of the police car and it didn't even notice. We haven't seen that entitled Karen since.

Font - thrashmasher 3 days ago My boss (greenhouse) will tell of a woman last year who entered the growing-no-customers house, then began moving and kicking over pots so she could pinch tomatoes off the vine.

Font - WeepingSomnabulist 2 days ago I lived in an area where people volunteered to put in flowering plants to beautify the town. There is a woman known for driving up (with her kid in the car) and stealing the plants, she did it several years in a row until she got caught in the act and chased off. Some people see things that aren't literally nailed down, and think that means it's theirs for the taking.

Font - Mavis4468 3 days ago This older lady, and I'm 55, so older than me. I used to take her out to Walmart or Target and I caught her shoving things in her big ole purse. That included smaller plants at Walmart. I made her put everything back, and I refused to take her anywhere again. I was so embarrassed!

Font - CoderJoe1 2 days ago Sounds like legit Karen reasoning: 1. Complain about some made up grievance. 2. Compensate yourself by stealing stuff. 3. Cry foul if anyone questions your twisted logic.
