Once upon a time, getting married was the best chance most women had at some kind of financial security. Thankfully, we have moved into an era where many of us have other options. There are valid criticisms to be made of the deal that women get in the workplace, and just how we work in general, but you know what? It's good we've moved forward.
However, not everybody seems to think that way. There are certain wannabe influencers out there who act like the victim, just because they have the privilege of choosing to be a stay-at-home wife. They point towards an icky trend of encouraging women to become a lot more dependent on the opposite gender.
One of the latest parts of this phenomenon to get roasted are TikTokers sharing tips on how to meet and marry rich men. When Twitter saw the advice that was being handed out, users wasted no time in talking about how the whole thing was a terrible idea. Let's put it this way, most of the dudes on the Forbes 400 didn't marry cocktail waitresses — and they aren't guaranteed to be caring husbands.
