'He blocked my number': Mom gets burned by her husband on Mother's Day after asking for a gift, then she seeks divorce instead

Mom's on Mother's Day just want a little appreciation. Most mama's are happy with a small token, like flowers, a card, or or chocolates to tell them they did a pretty good job being a parent. But what happens when a gift request goes way too far? Could a Mother's Day gift really tear apart a marriage?

In this case, one woman and mother of two was so desperate for recognition from her husband, she asked days before Mother's Day if he was going to get her a gift. He seemed irritated that she would even ask and she dropped the notion, imagining some sort of surprise at the end of the weekend. However, when the big Sunday arrived, she was left high and dry, wondering if her husband had completely forgotten the holiday or if he even cared. This rejection stung a little too much for OP to ignore it, so the ensuing argument escalated quickly into what could become a swift divorce. All of that over a $5 bouquet and perhaps a $.75 cent card? Yikes.
