Any gamer who dipped their toes into the indie horror video game, Five Nights at Freddy's, back in 2014 never regretted it. Sometimes you try a video game that you have never heard of and it's just eh—but not this one. This video game quickly gained a cult following for its unique story line, lore, and just overall how fun it is to play. If you're unfamiliar, long story short, the game is about a security guard hired to patrol a Chuck E. Cheese-like place, however the animatronics are all trying to mvrder you. You just have to survive, but that's not as easy as it sounds.
The gamer cult following has been begging for a movie adaptation for years, but nothing came into the works—until now, baby! That's right, fans are over the moon after the first official teaser was released this week. They are excited to have been a part of something that was indie and tiny from the start and evolve with it into this big-time film. And we say big time, because actors that are geek favorites, like Josh Hutcherson from The Hunger Games and actors who are horror favorites like Matthew Lillard from Scream are starring.
