“Yeah, I think that's what really pissed me off. If you want to parent a kid, have one. No one parents my kid but me or my husband.” said OP.

“That woman was way out of line. I wonder if she learned this behavior through her parents and being able to get food whenever you want triggered her. That is not normal. I feel sorry for any children that she might have. To police your son in your house is weird and you did the right thing by protecting him.” said u/PrincessBella1.

“I'm trying to figure out what world this person lives in that they think a child needs permission to enter their own kitchen. I've never heard of such a thing.” said u/unikittyRage.

“Yeah my sister would have been the one telling her friend off if that happened to one of our kids.”

“Met casually just a few times, first time in OP's house. Immediately starts ordering around her kid. Over food. In the fridge. Ummmm yeah, that ain't normal.” said u/AwkwardDisplayy.

“BuT sHe Is a TeAcHeR!” said u/magicpenguin94.
