'Why is it vibrating': Wholesome golden retriever welcomes a stray foster kitten into her home (VIDEO)

Welcoming a new pet into the house is always stressful, especially when you're introducing a new kitten to your existing doggo. Will they get along? Does the dog know how to be gentle with your new fur baby? Will the cat scratch the dog's eyes out? You never know the answer to any of these questions until you roll the dice and give it a try. Fortunately for one pet owner, their golden retriever, a dazzling young golden girl named Harlow, was an exemplary foster sibling to her new kitten, squashing all worries with her first nuzzle. 

In a recent video, Harlow's pawrents created a POV skit of their golden girl's initial thoughts on their incoming kitten and the resulting video is the most wholesome piece of doggie dialogue you'll see on the Interwebs today.

While taking Harlow out for her morning walk, her owner saw a golden puff ball in the dirt outside their house. As they got closer, they saw that the puff was actually a dirty orange kitten, crying for help, so naturally they brought the kitty inside and gave her a quick bath and a meal, thinking they'd give her up to a real rescue.

But then Harlow became her new bestie. 

At first, things were tense when they met because the pawrents weren't sure how Harlow would react to such a tiny frail thing, but Harlow proved to be the best girl possible. She gave gentle nuzzles and sniffed the kitten furiously, making the kitty vibrate with happy (and confuzzling) purring.Our hearts are simply bursting with these two.

Since their introduction, the pair has been inseparable and Harlow's reaction to the kitty is truly inspiring. Her natural motherly instinct to the cat is unmatched and, hilariously, their sibling style relationship is as relatable as any hooman's would be. Harlow is the unofficial babysitter, older sister, and best friend of the new Kimten and she's going to do a great job raising this feisty feline to be the tiniest cat-dog in existence.
