Swifty Gets the Ultimate Marriage Proposal, Gets Popped the Question During 'Love Song' at a Taylor Swift Concert

Swifties are a breed of human being who take the cake for eccentricity, romanticism, and living out those pipe-dream fantasy moments that only happen in young adult books. Since the beginning, Taylor Swift music tells stories of nerd girls getting asked to prom by their crush, not getting tied down by haters, and most importantly, Romeo and Juliette moments that exist in regular people's lives. Romance critiques are notorious Taylor Swift haters, but the Swify following is more relentless than they are deluded and simply LOVE LOVE– so they will not be tamed and they will follow Taylor into the 7 rings of hell if that means getting a ticket to her new Eras concert tour.

One Swifty recently scored tickets to a Taylor Swift concert and went home with more than wet glitter in her hair and some stranger's sweat on her shoulder. She went home with the most coveted gift a romantic girl can imagine– a diamond engagement ring.

While standing in the depths of the pit seats, a nervous boyfriend tugged on the sleeve of the girl next to him, a stranger who would later become integral in the most epic moment of his life. He slipped her a note during the show and asked if she could do him the honor of filming his marriage proposal to his long-time Swifty girlfriend, hoping to pop the question during the most romantic song in the set, ‘Love Song’.

The boyfriend was clearly nervous beyond belief. Not only would this be an insanely public proposal, but it would be in front of a hoard of feral women chanting and frothing for Taylor Swift's juiciest songs of love, loss, and girl-boss behavior. The scene was set perfectly and he had a videographer woman to document the whole thing. As soon as the part of the song that says “He knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring”, this Swifty's faithful Romeo said ‘Marry me, Juliet’.

We're not crying, you're crying. So for all those Swifties out there who believe in epic love stories in real life, this tale of the most wholesome and heartwarming proposal (in front of the stage of their well-worshipped goddess), proves that some girls can get engaged to their real-life Romeo. To all the haters out there, this is the reality of a real Love Story, deal with it.

I SOBBED SO HARD OMG
