Well, gamers… Sometimes there are helpful disclaimers on the video games you get and sometimes you have to figure out these disclaimers yourself. Recently, one for the newest Zelda game.

Gamers—nostalgic and new—are going crazy for the new The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The game not only plays the heartstrings of old time Zelda players but it also brings new aspects to the game that new comers of the Zelda universe are excited about. However, there was a disclaimer they seemed to overlook for anyone playing the game in a room with shared walls. You see, sometimes apartment walls can feel very thin and you can hear your neighbors doing things. When moving into an apartment this is usually become very apparent immediately and as neighbors everyone agrees to keep things at a manageable volume. You might hear some muffled music, but you tend to get used to that and not care.

However, when you start to hear some sounds that make you uncomfortable, like from adult content, playing too loudly, then you have to put your foot down. Unfortunately, in the new Zelda, the fairy you must talk to to upgrade your armor sounds very suggestive.  This poor gamer was playing that game e every day since its release and didn't think too much of it, until his landlord reach out to him. Apparently his neighbor had made a complaint that he was listening to “adult content” way too loudly. She asked him to please keep the volume down. He was confused at first and then mortified when he realized what was actually happening. He responded to the landlord and attached a video clip of the sound from Zelda and promised to keep the gaming volume down. Luckily, the landlord was the wife of a Zelda gamer and completely understood.

Still awkward AF tho… See how the whole thing unfolded below!
