'He slayed': Girl runs out of clothes to wear and her boyfriend steps up to play stylist

We all have those days where we take a look in our closet and cringe at the lack of clothing. The shortage is far from literal, as we have an entire Macy's rack in our walk-in, but sometimes we just need a fresh eye to look at our tops and skirts. One girl on TikTok this week found a handy use for her boyfriend when she felt her closet was lacking. Instead of putting her outfit together herself, she set her man free in the walk-in and let him choose her fashion fate.

Bearby, and LA-based style icon, has a closet full of thrifted magic. Although she has some flea market gems hung up in the closet, she is (in fact) a woman and therefore has the occasional inspiration slump when it comes to her wardrobe. Just like all of us girls, sometimes she goes to her treasure trover of outfits and finds nothing wanting.

When she first recruited her boyfriend to do her styling dirty work, viewers were skeptical. Jim, her boyfriend, appears to be a typical man's-man, shamelessly sporting an Adidas Herbalife soccer t-shirt with a royal blue pair of bargain brand basketball shorts. Standards immediately plummeted until our boy Jim, now know as the Internet's boyfriend, started hyping up each piece in Bearby's closet.

Although his fashion sense seemed rather elementary, as it turns out, when faced with the myriad of choices in his girlfriends closet, he picked stylish options with ease. Not only did he pull out some fire pairings, but he accessorized the tops and bottoms with belts, bags, shoes– the whole shebang.

Viewers were stunned by the expert stylings of our boyfriend, Jim. He may not look the part of a stylist, but he certainly pulled off the task and made us all smile. Not only were his outfits beautiful, but he became a one-man hype squad for Bearby and that's something we can all get behind.

The wholesomeness of this one man's efforts to make his woman feel beautiful, hit us all right in the feels. So the next time you're looking dismayed into your abysmal closet, call in a pair of fresh eyes and hope that they're half as good at women's styling as sweet Jimmy boy. If only we could get our very own mail-order Schmidt.
