Professional Scuba Diver Goes Viral and Shares What It's Like Diving into the Nightmarish Abyss of a Murky Ocean with Sharks

There is a reason you have to go through a course before ever going scuba diving. It isn't only to learn how to use the equipment, but it is also to learn how to safely explore such a different terrain. Humans are land creatures and the ocean is still largely a mysterious to even our greats oceanographers. We may know a little about a tiny portion of the water's inhabitants, but you still are in their home and must act accordingly.

A professional scuba instructor known as “Scuba Dan” has gone viral on TikTok for sharing videos of his amazing dives. He has many peaceful encounters with ocean wildlife, like with seals, manta rays, and, yes, even sharks. Recently, however, he's gone viral for his video diving into murky water. The ocean is already a scary place, but when it murky and you are only staring into an abyss, it's terrifying. The nightmarish experience of Scuba Dan taking a dive and not being able to see anything. Soon, he spots a hammerhead shark below him that felt like it came out of nowhere. Eventually, he spots a few more small sharks and decides to stick to the reef. However, once he starts seeing other small see creatures, like turtles and fish, swimming quickly away, he decides it's maybe time to call it a day. He could already sense there was something lurking in the murky waters that he couldn't see and the scared small marine life swimming away basically confirmed it for him.
