If you're going to call a meeting to order and inconvenience your employees, at least be on time for it.
Some people believe that if they're the boss, they're allowed to be late. That's kind of a boss's reality, because everyone has to wait for them to join in before the meeting begins. But it shows your employees that you don't value their time at all. It says to them that you'll show up when you feel like it, but they had better be on time, or else. You can't punish your boss for being late, the rules only apply to employees.
This person's boss was not only late to a meeting, but they had demanded that this meeting needed to be held on the employee's day off. As u/taipan821 shared to r/MaliciousCompliance, their boss scheduled them for a ten minute long meeting. What was so important? The boss needed the OP to learn about some software…which the OP already knew about and had been using for six months. Eye roll! The employee was nice enough to agree to do this meeting anyway, but at least they got their revenge.
