The dating world is a complicated place. With all the advances of the 21st century, it seems like it should be easier to find a mate. However, with advancements comes an influx of information, not necessarily all of it pleasant. We all have had that one red flag that made us give up on a potential partner. The question is, where do we draw the line?
Speaking of drawing the line. Today we're serving up a story about a man who left his date after finding out about her profession, it's hard to say who was in the wrong. The woman was upfront about her occupation, but she may have been a bit too aggressive in her approach. The man may have been turned off by her profession, or perhaps by her directness about his income. We would have run faster than we could say "Eiffel Tower," but fortunately, there are patient people in the world.
This leaves us wondering if we should feel bad for the woman. She was honest with the man on a first date, and after all, we all have to make a living. Does her profession really warrant a "flee-and-block"?
Let's look at some of what Reddit readers seem to think about this conundrum.
